The Greens moved into the semi-finals with great win over local rivals Wilpshire.
Both teams were ready for the game but it was the Greens who had the early missed chances from Alfie and Riley. It didn’t deter the Greens who went about their business with neat interchangeable passes which resulted in a great finish from Mikey.
2nd half was a little scrappy but the Greens kept their shape, whilst Wilpshire continued to try to hit them with the long ball on the break.
7 mins to go and the Greens were awarded a penalty. Up stepped Malachi under pressure to cooly hit the corner of the net. Game over.
The lads were exellent today and it was hard to pick man of the Match.
