A tough game ahead for the Greens today against arguably the best U12 team in Preston.
However we went about our business with no fear and took the game to them. We created the early chances and caused havoc down the right with silky George whipping crosses in.
15 mins in we had joy again a great cross from George on the right and up popped Malachi on the blind side to slot the ball home. 0-1. This urged a response from Cadley the striker hit a great shot just wide of keeper Finley and onto the post back out for there midfielder to slot in. 1-1. Game on.
2nd half the Greens had a few chances from our midfielders Finley and Mason and striker Marcus also coming close. But the game went scrappy and both teams cancelled each other out in the end.
So straight onto pens which Joe George Marcus Mason Malachi stepped up to take. Brave lads.
Keeper Finley pulled off a great save and Marcus sealed a pens win.
